Yes, I am a terrible blogger! I won't make up any excuses. I do have quite a bit to post to catch up on what we've been doing the past couple of months, so please be patient. (Ha, ha! I'm sure you've all given up on me and blogging!)
Colby and I were able to take our annual vacation-- just the two of us! We decided to head to Las Vegas where Colby would attend a continuing education seminar and I would relax and scrapbook! Colby was glad to get most of his CE credits out of the way and I did actually get some pages scrapbooked! We were also able to see some sights and reach our quota for the year of eating at a buffet! We took a romantic gondola ride and saw Phantom of the Opera! It was nice to get away from the kids for a few days, too! Thanks mom and dad for babysitting!

How fast does that gondola go, constituting seat belts? Yowzers :)
ReplyDeleteWow. That's kind of weird that you mention Phantom of the Oprea. I think I must have dreamed about it last night, because when I woke up this morning the lines 'I am the mask you wear, it's me they hear' was running through my head. It got me thinking I'd like to see it again. Que the Twilight -the original one, that is - music!) Glad you got away and had some fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun vacation! And don't feel bad about the blogging thing. No biggy. Everyone needs to find their own groove.
ReplyDeleteHey Anne! Saw your blog on Raegan's & added it to my list. Hope you don't mind! My blog is private, but if you want an invite, just email me at laurel.r.wool@gmail.com!
ReplyDeleteSo, I TOTALLY understand that it's not easy to update "the blog". I do most of my blogging during the summer since it's the only time of year I HAVE some time to do it! Glad to hear you're doing well and that you had a chance to take an awesome vacation... Hope to read more soon! (But don't feel bad if you don't get to it... it means you're busy LIVING your life! Not just posting about it...)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you had the chance to get away! We have a couple of trips planned too. . . and they actually don't involve continuing education. . . that 's a first for us!
